For Brands: Adding a Payment Method and Understanding Financial Transactions

To keep payments running smoothly, it’s essential to set up your payment method in the Current platform.

This article walks you through connecting your bank account or credit card and understanding how payments are processed. Let's get started!

Connecting Your Bank Account

  1. Input Banking Information via Plaid

    • Start by entering the required information into the fields prompted through Plaid.

  2. Verify Company Information

    • The first screen will ask you to verify details about your company, such as:

      • Name

      • Address

      • Contact Information

  3. Follow Plaid’s Prompts

    • Once your company details are verified, the Plaid window will guide you through the next steps.

    • If you have Two-Factor Authentication enabled, you’ll see an additional screen to complete this process.

  4. Finalize Connection

    • After completing the prompts, your bank account should connect successfully.

Credit Card Payment Option

For clients on the Basic month-to-month plan, you can input credit card information, processed securely through Stripe. Please note:

  • This option supports payments up to a $3,000 monthly limit.

  • Beyond this limit, you’ll need to connect a bank account.

Financial Transactions

Monthly Invoice

Your monthly invoice will include an estimated breakdown of:

  • SaaS fees

  • Creator commissions

  • Any additional charges incurred during the billing cycle.

Invoices are generated on your statement close date, which occurs one month after your hub goes live.

Payment Responsibilities

Each month, you’ll be responsible for:

  • SaaS fees

  • Creator commissions

  • One-time creator charges incurred during the billing cycle.

Automatic Payment Processing

On your statement close date, the total amount due—including SaaS fees and creator commissions—will be automatically withdrawn from your connected bank account or credit card.

Important: To ensure timely payments to creators, we strongly recommend using ACH as your payment method. This will streamline the payment process for both you and your creators.
