Connecting and Disconnecting Instagram and Facebook Accounts

In this article, you’ll learn how to connect your Instagram account to Facebook, enabling seamless content sharing across both platforms. We’ll guide you through the steps to connect, disconnect, and switch to a different Facebook account, ensuring your Current profile is set up properly to work directly with brands as a creator!

Connecting Instagram to Facebook

1. Open Instagram: Launch the Instagram app on your mobile device.
2. Go to Profile: Tap your profile picture in the bottom right corner to access your profile.
3. Access Menu: Tap the three horizontal lines in the top right corner to open the menu.
4. Settings and Privacy: Select Settings and privacy.
5. Accounts Center: Tap Accounts Center.
6. Add Account: Tap Add accounts and choose Facebook.
7. Login to Facebook: Enter your Facebook login credentials.

Tip: Make sure you have your Facebook login credentials ready before starting.

Disconnecting Instagram from Facebook

1. Open Instagram: Launch the Instagram app on your mobile device.
2. Go to Profile: Tap your profile picture in the bottom right corner to access your profile.
3. Access Menu: Tap the three horizontal lines in the top right corner to open the menu.
4. Settings and Privacy: Select Settings and privacy.
5. Accounts Center: Tap Accounts Center.
6. Remove Facebook: Tap Remove next to your Facebook account.
7. Confirm: Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the removal.

Note: Disconnecting will unlink your accounts, but you can reconnect later if desired.

Connecting Instagram to a Different Facebook Account

1. Disconnect: Follow the steps above to disconnect your Instagram account from the current Facebook account.
2. Connect New Account: Follow the steps for connecting Instagram to Facebook, but use the credentials for the new Facebook account.
