Welcome to Account Settings Overview!
This article will guide you through your Current hub account settings and will cover essential features that streamline your interactions with creators, therefore enhancing your overall campaign management.
As you review this article, you may find links to additional articles throughout. Some tabs and processes go into more detail than what’s covered here, so reviewing them when available will help set you up for success.
Navigating to your Account Settings
- Once logged into your Current Tech profile, navigate to the bottom left corner of your screen and click on your profile.
- Click on "Settings."
3. Once you open your account settings, you'll be in the Account tab by default.
Here, you can edit your password, connect your social and email accounts, manage users, and update your social tracking hashtags and mentions.
Setting Up a System Email
Your System Email will be used for Current’s Sequencing feature and to send emails to your creators directly from your Current Hub.
While connecting your email to the hub isn’t required, it’s highly recommended to ensure a single place for sending emails to creators. Keep in mind, a System Email is not an email "inbox" but a tool to send single or bulk emails connected to a campaign or program.
Please note: The Sequencing feature may not be available for all users. If you don’t see this option within your hub or are having issues with this step, feel free to contact us at Current with any questions.
Follow these steps to set up your System Email to your Current hub:
- After entering your account settings with the steps above, scroll down to find "Email Settings" near the bottom of the "Account" tab.
- You'll see "System Email" in the middle of your screen near the bottom of the Account tab.
- This email is managed directly from the hub and is only used for sending messages.

- You’ll need two things for your System Email:

A Sending Address:
- Your sending address is the email your creators will receive messages from.
- The domain (the part after the @ sign) will match your hub URL and cannot be changed.
- You can change the alias (the part before the @ sign) to something welcoming for creators.
- Typically, we use ambassadors@domain.com
- Be careful not to use something too specific like "recruiting@" or "prospects@", since this address will be used for all system emails, and not just recruiting or prospects.
- Your sending address is the email your creators will receive messages from.

Forward-to Inbox:
- Since your System Email doesn’t have an "inbox," you'll need to select an email address to receive replies.
- Use an email you regularly check for creator responses.
- If multiple people are involved in recruiting, use a shared group email to ensure everyone can see and manage the replies.

A Sending Address:
As a reminder, the Sequencing feature may not be available for all users. If you don’t see this option within your hub or are having issues with this step, feel free to contact us at Current with any questions.
This includes the default percentage of sales or flat rate for your creators, along with payment receipts from successful transactions.
You’ll also find a summary of your usage for emails sent (both sequences and custom), search/prospect discovery, shop connections, and the ambassadors/influencers in your program.
Lastly, you can update your payment information and edit the name, email, and phone number of your billing contact, as well as view all payment receipts.
You can see the shipping countries available for your products and make adjustments and enable inventory tracking to prevent users/creators from selecting out-of-stock products.
You also have the option to purchase a new domain if desired.
You can also schedule changes to discount codes for upcoming sales and revert them back to previous codes if needed.
